TEXAS SCHOOL SPORT PHYSICALS A Sports Physical is required to be performed prior to participation in Texas School Sports and many other exertional activities such as Drill Team and Band. An annual Texas School Sport Physical is generally a good idea regardless of participation in School Sports and Activities.  Such an exam is an opportunity to identify potential or existing problems, early on, for the benefit of the student. Dr. David Thornton provides low cost ($10) Texas School Sport Physicals to the Arlington and DFW community.
